Hello once again, the program for the January 11, 2007 meeting located at Mom’s Country Kitchen starting at 7 PM will be Maria Ronderos. She is the JR Golf Champion and she will be talking about what is going on in her life at the moment. Sarah Ferragu and Kodi Sells be doing a jazz vocal performance as well, you won’t want to miss it.
This years Geography Bee will be held on January 10, 2007 from 7PM – 8PM at the McIntosh Middle School’s Media Center. Anyone who would like to attend is certainly welcome.
Arts day is approaching fast, as Joe Ramon is chairing the food sales for us, thanks Joe. The Arts day is from 10 AM – 5 PM. $5 suggested donation and children free. Offsite parking with free trolley service to the following parking lots Van Wezel, Sarasota High, and North Sarasota Library.
The 2nd Quarter North Florida District Conference is being held from February 2nd – 4th at the Coca Beach Holiday Inn. The District Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will be held at the 2nd Quarter Conference on February 3rd at 1:30 PM.
Hey thankfully we got some recognition. In a special edition of Sport’s Illustrated which looks at modern day sport’s hero’s when they were young. Well the caption with the youthful Tiger Woods mentions that he recently won the Optimist International in San Diego.
