Bulletins
have not been getting sent out recently, for this I apologize. As a
Club not a lot has been happening to write about and I'm just getting
caught up on other things lately. Not really a valid excuse, just not
managing my time properly to sent one out. For anyone who has ever
taking up the take of being the bulletin editor, I'm sure they
understand.

Elections - April 28
Annual elections will be held on Thursday, April 28 at Perkins Restaurant, 5921 Fruitville Rd, 7pm.
A quorum of club members is required, members must be in good standing
in order to vote. The Nominating Committee has recommended the
following:

Elections and
voting will take place as soon as a quorum is present, so if you are
unable to stay for dinner, please show up to cast your vote, you will
then be permitted to leave.

The Zone 9 Oratorical contest was held on Saturday, April 23 and our Boys Club contest winner - Brandon Thomas, was the winner! Brandon is an 8th Grader at Booker Middle School.
This year, Brandon was a "3-peat" winner at our Club level contest, but
this will be his first time advancing to the Regional contest to be
held in Tampa on Saturday, May 7th. One Winner and one runner-up from the Boys and Girls contest will advance to the North Florida District finals on May 14.
Our Girls Club winner, Emmy Wells did not place in the top three at the Zone 9 Contest.
